Helmets occupy the head slot of the Druid's loadout. Pre-launch material confirms helmets as a slot separate from body armor, allowing players to mix and match defenses. Specific helmet types, stats, and set bonuses are still unconfirmed.

Specific defenses. Helmets often carry resistances against particular damage types or status effects, complementing the broader physical mitigation on body armor.
Perception slots. In comparable ARPGs, helmets sometimes carry visibility, awareness, or critical-hit bonuses. Whether Fatekeeper's helmets do is unconfirmed.
Visual presence. Helmets affect the Druid's silhouette in the trailers. The team has shown both heavy-helm and hooded-cloth variations in pre-launch footage.
Fatekeeper is a first-person ARPG, which changes how helmet design matters compared to a third-person ARPG. The player rarely sees their own helmet on screen, so cosmetic helm design matters less for moment-to-moment immersion than for preview / cinematics. Conversely, helmets that obstruct the screen edge or alter the field of view (closed visors, half-cages, breathing slits) are a real design lever the team can use to convey weight at the cost of visibility.
