Pre-launch material confirms armor as a distinct slot but does not yet detail named armor sets, weight classes, or specific stat profiles.
Damage reduction. Heavier armor reduces incoming damage from melee and physical attacks.
Movement weight. Heavier armor likely affects dodge speed, sprint endurance, or stamina costs (specific rules unconfirmed).
Resistance. Some armor pieces may carry elemental resistance values, useful against Arcane Wielders and corrupted wildlife.
