Street Vendors

Initial version: full street vendor guide with all 8 locations and 32-item inventory table
Street Vendors are generic, unnamed merchants who set up stalls at fixed landmarks throughout Pywel. There are eight stalls spread across three broad geographic groups: three Desert stalls in the Hernand region, two Northern stalls in Demeniss, and three Southern stalls in Delesyia. Every Street Vendor carries an identical inventory of 32 items, ranging from ammunition and ores to cooking staples and crafting components.
Street Vendors do not appear in the Knowledge Journal under individual names. They share a single entry labeled "Street Vendor," making them distinct from the named shopkeepers found in towns. Because their stock is identical across all eight locations, the choice of which stall to visit comes down purely to geography: stop at whichever one is closest to where you are exploring.
All eight Street Vendor stalls are permanently placed at roadside landmarks. They do not wander or respawn elsewhere. The table below lists each stall by its in-game identifier, its region, and a rough note on placement.
Vendor Name | Region | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Street Vendor (Desert 1) | Northern Hernand, near the desert foothills | |
Street Vendor (Desert 2) | Central Hernand, along the main trade road | |
Street Vendor (Desert 3) | Southern Hernand, close to the Greymane Camp route | |
Street Vendor (Northern 1) | Northern Demeniss, roadside stall on the main path | |
Street Vendor (Northern 2) | Central Demeniss, near a landmark settlement | |
Street Vendor (Southern 1) | Northern Delesyia, first stall past the region border | |
Street Vendor (Southern 2) | Central Delesyia, along the southern trade corridor | |
Street Vendor (Southern 3) | Southern Delesyia, near the coast |
The Desert stalls serve players working through the Hernand region early in the campaign. The Northern stalls become accessible as you push into Demeniss during mid-game, and the Southern stalls cover Delesyia once you reach the southern reaches of the map.
Every Street Vendor carries the same 32-item stock. Prices are listed in copper. Stock quantities reset at the in-game daily reset (midnight), so if a vendor is sold out, return after the reset or visit another stall.

Street Vendors are one of the most reliable sources of standard ammunition in the open world. Each stall carries Arrows (2 copper, stock 2), Bullets (4 copper, stock 3), and Small Cannonballs (8 copper, stock 15). Because all eight stalls share this stock, running a circuit of nearby vendors is an efficient way to bulk up on ammunition before a difficult encounter or siege.
Each stall carries Iron Ore (22 copper, stock 18) and Copper Ore (54 copper, stock 45). The high stock quantities make Street Vendors a convenient alternative to active mining when you need a quick top-up of smelting or refinement materials.
The bulk of each vendor's inventory is made up of cooking staples. These are the essentials you need to prepare meals at campfires and cooking stations:
Water, Salt, Sugar, Cooking Oil (4 copper each, stock 10)
Flour, Garlic, Onion (5 copper each, stock 5)
Egg, Milk (6 copper each, stock 5)
Honey, Vinegar, Pepper (8 copper each, stock 3)
Bread (7 copper, stock 3), Beer (12 copper, stock 3)
Smoked Eggs (11 copper, stock 3), Grilled Meat (14 copper, stock 2)
Wine (38 copper, stock 2)
Pickled Vegetables (50 copper, stock 1), Honey Tea (67 copper, stock 1)
The high-end food items (Pickled Vegetables, Honey Tea) are sold in limited quantities of one per reset, so check multiple stalls if you need more than one.
Street Vendors also stock several crafting materials: Cloth Pieces, Feathers, Small Bones (all 10 copper, stock 5), Coal (15 copper, stock 3), Timber (18 copper, stock 3), Flax and Cotton (12 copper each, stock 3), and a single unit of Dye (25 copper, stock 1). These materials are useful for soft armor and clothing refinement, reducing the need to farm enemies or run to a city.
Interacting with any Street Vendor opens the standard trade window. You can buy items from their stock or sell items from your inventory. A few rules apply:
No repurchase tab: Street Vendors do not have a buyback menu. Once you sell an item to a Street Vendor, you cannot retrieve it. Double-check before confirming any sale.
Uniform sell prices: The amount of copper you receive for a sold item is the same regardless of which vendor you sell to. There is no benefit to shopping around for a better offer.
Stock resets daily: Vendor stock refills at the in-game daily reset. If a stall is sold out of arrows or ore, either visit another stall or return after the reset.
Street Vendor prices are slightly higher than what you pay at established shops in Hernand Town or at Greymane Camp. For example, basic cooking ingredients such as Salt and Sugar cost 4 copper from a Street Vendor compared to 3 copper from Ronnie at the camp. Arrows cost 2 copper at both Street Vendors and the camp shop, so ammunition pricing is consistent. The small markup on groceries is a reasonable trade-off for roadside convenience during long expeditions.
Visit a Street Vendor whenever you pass one. Topping up on Salt, Sugar, Cooking Oil, and Water costs very little and keeps you self-sufficient for campfire cooking.
Ammunition stocks (Arrows, Bullets, Small Cannonballs) are shared across all eight stalls. Running a short circuit of two or three nearby vendors is the fastest way to accumulate a large ammo reserve without visiting a city.
Iron Ore (stock 18 per stall) and Copper Ore (stock 45 per stall) are available in large quantities. Street Vendors are a practical substitute for mining when you just need a handful of ore for a refinement job.
High-end food items like Pickled Vegetables and Honey Tea are stocked in quantities of one per stall. If you need several, plan a route that hits multiple stalls before the daily reset.
Because Street Vendors have no repurchase tab, never sell anything to one unless you are certain you no longer need it. Use named town merchants with their buyback menus for items you might want to recover.
The Desert stalls (Desert 1-3 in Hernand) are the easiest to reach early in the game. Prioritize those stalls during the opening chapters when your inventory management needs are highest.
