Patch 2.02.00 was released on September 11, 2026 at 05:30 UTC, the second numbered patch after the Crimson Desert Enhanced line began at 2.00.00. It carries one new feature, cross-save on Mac, and a twelve-entry fix and improvement list. Two of those fixes clear progression blockers that had no workaround: the Thornbriar Fortress liberation objective could not be completed at all before this patch, and the letter in the quest The Words of Alustin could vanish mid-quest.
New Additions
Cross-save was added on Mac. The feature itself is not new to the game: it shipped in patch 1.14.00 on July 16, 2026 covering PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and the Epic Games Store, and 2.02.00 is the point at which Mac joins it. Differences Between the Published Patch Notes
The two published versions of 2.02.00 do not match. The version on the game’s own notice board carries the New Additions block with the Mac cross-save entry and the six-platform rollout table above. The Steam copy of the same patch omits the New Additions block entirely, summarises the release as bug fixes and stability improvements, and lists only the two Steam platforms. Reading 2.02.00 on Steam alone makes it look like a PC-only, fix-only patch, which is the reason this article records the platform rollout separately.
