Overview

The Large Farming Scythe is a harvesting tool in Crimson Desert designed for cutting wheat, grass, and other field crops. Its long handle allows the user to swing it while standing, clearing a wide area with each stroke. This makes it one of the most efficient tools for large-scale work during harvest season.

How to Obtain

The Large Farming Scythe can be purchased from Provisioner vendors in towns across Pywel. Check the Provisioner's Shop in Hernand or other settlements.

Usage

Equip the scythe through the Equipment Wheel (hold D-Pad Left / F3 on PC) and swing it near wheat fields or tall grass to harvest crops. The scythe's wide cutting arc covers more ground per swing than smaller farming tools like the Hoe or Rake, so it is best suited for open fieldwork rather than precise gardening.

Refinement

The Large Farming Scythe can be refined at any Smithy in Pywel, with 10 refinement levels available. Refining it improves harvesting efficiency. The process requires materials and copper coins, similar to other tool refinements.

Combat Notes

The scythe's Attack value of 8 puts it on par with tools like the Pickaxe and Pitchfork as an improvised weapon. It is still far weaker than any dedicated weapon, so swap to your main armament before engaging enemies.
