Overview

The Kuku Flame-Resistant Armor is Legendary body armor in Crimson Desert that provides Fire Resistance Lv. 10 and absorbs incoming fire damage. Once fully charged, the armor unleashes a massive fire explosion in an area around Kliff, dealing heavy damage and pushing back nearby enemies. It is crafted at the Kilnden Workshop by reinforcing Scorchflame Plate Armor with an Enhanced Kuku Pot and the Core of Absolution.

How to Obtain

Step 1: Unlock the Blueprint

The blueprint is unlocked from the witch quest line sanctum chain. It becomes available at Grimnir's Kuku Shop after clearing the corresponding sanctum.

Step 2: Obtain the Scorchflame Plate Armor

The base Scorchflame Plate Armor is found at the Golden Trading Post in Demeniss. Around the midway section of the trading post, look for a door that you can crouch through. The armor is inside a chest beyond this hidden entrance. No boss fight or story progression is required.

Step 3: Obtain the Core of Absolution

Solve the dial puzzle at the Sanctum of Absolution to receive the Core of Absolution. Rotate the dial 360 degrees using the Sword Glint ability.

Step 4: Craft at Kilnden Workshop

Combine the Scorchflame Plate Armor, the Core of Absolution, a Power Core (from Rock Serpent enemies), and the Enhanced Kuku Pot at Grimnir's Kuku Shop.

Fire Explosion Ability

The armor absorbs incoming fire damage and stores it as energy. As Kliff takes fire-based hits, a charge indicator fills. Once full, the armor glows and automatically releases a powerful fire explosion that damages all nearby enemies. The explosion also pushes back enemies on hit.

Against bosses that deal fire damage, the charge can fill almost instantaneously, making the explosion trigger very frequently. In boss fights with fire-dealing enemies, Kliff barely flinches from the incoming damage (thanks to the Lv. 10 resistance) while the boss gets pushed back by the explosion. This creates a powerful defensive loop where the boss's own attacks fuel retaliatory damage.

Tips

• Extremely effective against fire-themed bosses; their attacks charge the explosion rapidly.

• The Critical Rate Lv. 2 bonus (scaling to Lv. 3) makes this armor offensively valuable even without the explosion mechanic.

• Stand in environmental fire sources (flamethrower traps, campfires) to charge the explosion outside of combat.

• The fire explosion pushes back enemies, creating breathing room during intense fights.
