Short Answer
No. Crimson Desert does not have a character creation screen. You play as pre-written protagonists with fixed appearances, voices, and backstories. There is no option to design your own character from scratch.
Playable Characters
The single-player campaign features three fixed protagonists that you switch between at specific story points:
Kliff: The main protagonist and leader of the Greymane mercenaries.
Oongka: A powerful warrior with a distinct fighting style.
Damiane: A skilled combatant with her own combat abilities.
Their faces, body types, and voices cannot be changed. This approach is similar to games like The Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2, where you play as a defined character rather than a custom avatar.
Available Customization
While there is no character creator, Crimson Desert does offer cosmetic customization through two facilities at the Greymane Camp:
Barber Shop: Change hairstyles, facial hair, eyebrows, and add face or body tattoos for all three protagonists. Unlocked by completing the "A Rumor at the Inksworth Bindery" quest.
Dyehouse: Change the color and material appearance of armor, weapons, horse equipment, and War Robot parts using dyes.
