In-Game Music Updates Tied to the OST
Patch 1.03.00 added three new base combat music tracks plus one new loading screen track to in-game audio rotation. The new tracks rotate alongside the launch lineup; players in long combat sessions or repeated loading screens see a noticeable variety boost compared to the launch month.
Audio Team Context
The soundtrack is produced by Pearl Abyss's internal audio department, led by Audio Director and Lead Composer Hwiman Ryu. The studio has a long track record of recording with European orchestras for its other releases, and similar production approaches inform the Crimson Desert score.
