Add Frostcursed Plate Gloves and Grotevant Plate Gloves to the All Gloves table
Gloves are one of five Armor slots in Crimson Desert. Unlike headgear and body armor, gloves provide both attack and defense bonuses, making them a critical piece of offensive equipment. Gloves also offer secondary effects such as attack speed, critical hit chance, and movement speed. Each pair of gloves has two Abyss Core slots for further customization and can be upgraded through 10 refinement levels at the blacksmith.
Every pair of gloves in Crimson Desert grants an attack bonus alongside its defensive stats. This makes the glove slot uniquely important for builds focused on damage output. The attack values on gloves range from 9 to 15, while defense values range from 1 to 4. Gloves are one of two armor slots (along with footwear) that provide direct attack bonuses. All five known gloves have two Abyss Core slots and can be refined up to level 10 at the blacksmith in Hernand. The character stats screen shows the combined attack and defense contributions from all equipped gloves.
The following table lists all 5 known gloves pieces. ATK and DEF values are base stats before Refinement upgrades. Price shows the purchase cost where known.

Gloves are one of two armor slots (along with footwear) that provide direct attack bonuses. The Hernand Ceremonial Guard Gloves offer the highest base attack at 15 and cost 15 Contribution to unlock. The Ynitium Leather Gloves sit at the lower end with 9 attack but come free as starting equipment.
Several gloves boost critical hit chance. The Demenissian Uniform Leather Gloves stand out with Critical Hit Chance Lv.2, the highest critical bonus among all known gloves. The Hernand Ceremonial Guard Gloves and Ynitium Leather Gloves each grant Critical Hit Chance Lv.1.
The Canta Plate Gloves are the only gloves that provide an Attack Speed Lv.1 bonus, increasing the rate at which strikes connect. They cost 2.22 Silver from the Hernand Equipment shop and also feature two Abyss Core slots.
All five pairs of gloves have exactly two Abyss Core slots. This is consistent across every pair regardless of rarity or source. Players can socket offensive or defensive cores into these slots to tailor gloves for specific builds. The Sunset Reed Cloth Gloves are notable because they come with a built-in Fluttering Reeds core that provides Health +1.0/sec regeneration, effectively occupying one of the core's thematic effects while still leaving both Abyss Core slots open for additional customization.
All gloves can be upgraded through 10 refinement levels at the blacksmith in Hernand. Each refinement level raises both the attack and defense stats of the gloves. Higher refinement levels require progressively rarer materials and Abyss Artifacts. Because gloves provide both offensive and defensive stats, refining them gives a dual benefit that no other armor slot can match. Prioritize refining whichever gloves you plan to keep for the long term, as materials become expensive at higher levels.
Two pairs of gloves are given to the player as starting equipment depending on the character chosen at the start of the game:
Ynitium Leather Gloves: Equipped by default as Kliff's starting gear. Provides Critical Hit Chance Lv.1 and Lightning Resistance Lv.1. At 9 Attack and 1 Defense, these are the weakest gloves statistically, but they serve as a solid foundation until better options become available.
Demenissian Uniform Leather Gloves: Part of Damiane's starting loadout. These gloves grant Critical Hit Chance Lv.2 (the highest critical bonus among all gloves) along with Lightning Resistance Lv.1. They also provide the Demenissian Faction Disguise, letting the player pass as a Demenissian soldier. With 13 Attack and 4 Defense, they are among the strongest gloves in the game right from the start.
Prioritize gloves with critical hit chance if your build relies on burst damage from weapons with high base damage per hit. The Demenissian Uniform Leather Gloves offer Critical Hit Chance Lv.2, making them the strongest option for crit-focused builds.
The Sunset Reed Cloth Gloves are a strong early-game pick because their built-in Fluttering Reeds core provides Health +1.0/sec regeneration during exploration and combat. Their Movement Speed Lv.1 bonus also helps with traversal across the open world.
The Hernand Ceremonial Guard Gloves have the highest combined attack and defense of any gloves at 15 Attack and 4 Defense. Acquiring them through Contribution should be a priority for melee-focused builds.
The Canta Plate Gloves are the only gloves with Attack Speed Lv.1, making them ideal for fast-swinging weapon builds. They offer a solid middle ground with 12 Attack and 3 Defense.
Because all gloves share the same two Abyss Core slots and 10 refinement levels, the main differentiators between pairs are their base stats, bonus effects, and special properties. Choose gloves based on which secondary stat (crit, attack speed, or movement speed) best complements your weapon and playstyle.
If you are playing as Damiane, her starting Demenissian Uniform Leather Gloves are strong enough to last well into the mid-game. Consider investing refinement materials into them early rather than replacing them.
