Overview

Estate in Dismay is the first arc of the House Roberts faction quest line in Crimson Desert. The arc consists of five quests centered on dismantling the Bleed Bandits terrorizing Count Roberts's estates and the surrounding countryside near Bluemont Manor. The quest chain is primarily combat-driven and culminates in liberating Karin Quarry and solving a crane puzzle.

Quest 1: First Trial of Trust

Speak with House Roberts's Servant near Bluemont Manor. He sends you southeast to Muckroot Ranch. Talk to the caretaker sitting by a tree, then head south to Bluemont Cask House and defeat all enemies in the area.

Quest 2: Troubled Count

Speak with Erich outside Bluemont Manor, then enter the building and ascend the stairs. On the second floor, speak with Count Roberts behind his desk. He outlines the full scope of the bandit problem.

Quest 3: Stolen Quarry

Travel north to the Karin Quarry, marked on your map. Climb over the western or southern wall to access the boss arena. Defeat the Excavatron boss, then clear the remaining enemies throughout the quarry until the progress bar reaches zero.

Boss: Excavatron - The Excavatron is a heavily armored mechanical enemy. The key to winning is patience. Do not spam attacks. Dodge its swings, then use quick skills like Force Palm to interrupt and stun it. Exploit the stun windows for sustained damage.

Quest 4: Sealed in Stone

Talk to Erich in the center of Karin Quarry and receive the Crane Control Room Key. Operate the elevator using the handwheel to ride to the top. Unlock the control room door with the key, then operate the crane controls to clamp onto the buried relic. Pull up on the controls to extract it.

After extracting the relic, a hole opens beneath revealing a hidden area. Drop down to find a Palmar Pill inside.

Quest 5: The Count's Honor

Return to Count Roberts at Bluemont Manor to deliver the recovered relic and complete the Estate in Dismay arc. This unlocks the next arc: Continuing Concern.

Tips

• Rather than picking off enemies one at a time at the Cask House and Karin Quarry, pull groups together and use area-of-effect abilities to clear camps faster.

• Do not skip the Sealed in Stone quest even though it offers no direct reward. It is required before The Count's Honor becomes available, and missing it stalls your progress toward the Formal Alliance with House Roberts.

• The hidden Palmar Pill beneath the extracted relic is easy to miss. Drop down into the hole after using the crane.

• Completing the full House Roberts questline (Estate in Dismay, Continuing Concern, and Boulder from the Sky) earns a Formal Alliance with the house.
