Revision 9

Overview

Bolton Plate Helm is a piece of Headgear in Crimson Desert. It is a sturdy plate helm tied to the Bolton armor set. The pickup guide displays 4 Defense; compare it with the Blackwing Mask at the same refinement level when choosing defensive headgear. The older comparison says this helm lacks the movement speed bonus and reinforcement gauge attributed to the Blackwing Mask. The Bolton Plate Helm remains a defensive option before obtaining the Blackwing Mask.

Stats

How to Obtain

The recorded refinement table lists Defense 2 at +0, 4 at +2 and 21 at +10, explaining why an acquired Defense 4 item should not be compared with every other helm as an unrefined maximum. The pickup guide confirms the Hernand Castle contribution shop and a price of four Contribution Points.

The Bolton Plate Helm is purchased using Contribution points in Hernand. Like other Contribution-gated equipment, it requires investing time into activities that earn Hernand Contribution currency.

Check the Contribution vendor inventory in Hernand for availability and pricing. The Bolton set is one of several equipment sets that can be acquired through the Contribution system.

Refinement and Upgrades

The Bolton Plate Helm can be upgraded through the Refining System at the blacksmith in Hernand. Up to 10 refinement levels are available, each increasing the piece's base stats. Plate headgear refinement requires ores obtained through mining.

Notes

• An older comparison pairs the 4 DEF pickup display with the Blackwing Mask; this is not a universal highest-base-Defense ranking for all headgear.

• Unlike the Blackwing Mask, the Bolton Plate Helm does not offer a movement speed bonus or reinforcement gauge. Its value lies purely in raw defense.

• Part of the Bolton armor set, which includes the Bolton Plate Armor and Bolton Plate Cloak.

• A straightforward defensive choice for players who want maximum protection without worrying about special effects.
