Where To Find It
Leafy is listed in 1 habitat. Which creatures actually appear also depends on weather, time of day, and local phenomena, so a listed habitat is where to look rather than a guarantee.
Habitat |

Trait
Every Aniimo carries a passive Trait that is always active while it fights alongside a Pathfinder.
Trait | Effect |
|---|---|
Power of Nature | While off field, creates a patch of grass under a teammate after they cast 3 skills. |
Traversal
The index grades three traversal capabilities, Climb, Fly and Swim, from level 1 to level 3. A Pathfinder inherits them by Twining with the creature, so Leafy is worth keeping for how it gets you across the map as well as for what it does in a fight.
Capability | Grade |
|---|---|
Swim | Level 2 |
Skills
The table lists Leafy's three available combat moves and its innate ultimate and basic attack. Choose two combat skills for the build; Power and Cost retain the listed skill values.
Skill | Type | Power | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Vitality Blooms | Combat | 0 | 10 | Creates a circular magic field underfoot, restoring 2.4 EP every second to Grass-type teammates within range for 12s. The field also upgrades nearby grass into Vitality Blooms, restoring 1% HP every second to Grass-type teammates within range. |
Cyclone of Leaves | Combat | 33 | 10 | Attacks with its tail and releases a cyclone of leaves that moves forward. The cyclone generates grassland around the Aniimo, lasting for 20s. |
Vine Entanglement | Combat | 16 | 10 | Launches a circular magic attack around the target. If affected targets are on grass, they are bound by vines and enter a [Stunned] state for 3s. |
Lotus Bloom | Innate | 0 | 0 | Quickly forms a lotus cocoon that bursts open, instantly healing the whole team for 15% of the caster’s max HP, and grants the entire team 15% Grass Enhancement for 30s. |
ATK | Innate | 6 | 0 | Wields the power of grass to attack targets from a distance. |
Obtaining Leafy
Alpha Leafy is in The Mistwoods. Its evolution branch requires defeating that Alpha, raising Pranky to level 20 and evolving on the giant lotus leaf where the Alpha resides, using three Sprout Stones.
From | Evolution | Level | Additional conditions | Materials |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Leafy | 20 | Defeat Alpha Leafy; evolve on its giant lotus leaf | 3 × Sprout Stone |
Grass recovery and terrain build
Pair Vitality Blooms with Cyclone of Leaves, with Lotus Bloom as the ultimate. Prioritize REGEN, then HP, with Attack, BREAK and the two defenses after those. ISTJ is one personality example, and Spirited Feather is a held-item option.
Build | REGEN | HP | Attack | BREAK | P.DEF / M.DEF |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Grass recovery | 5 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1 / 1 |
Cyclone of Leaves creates grass immediately, while Power of Nature creates it under a teammate after that teammate casts three skills with Leafy off field. Use the immediate option when the next attacker needs grass before its first skill.
Vitality Blooms supplies EP recovery to Grass teammates inside its circle and turns nearby grass into healing patches. Its contract also supplies 0.8 Ultimate Energy per second for 12 seconds to Grass teammates, with the circle effect lingering for three seconds after leaving. The ultimate pool is shared, so keep an eligible Grass member in the circle when planning that recovery.
When the ultimate pool allows, use Lotus Bloom before the Grass damage turn for its damage boost. Place Vitality Blooms, create grass with Cyclone of Leaves when needed, finish other support effects and pass the turn to Irisal, Thornblade or another Grass attacker. Use a dedicated healer when the team needs more recovery than this support plan provides.
