Aniimo is developed by Pawprint Studio, a studio based in Hangzhou, China, and published by Kingsglory, a cross-platform publishing label established by FunPlus. Aniimo is Kingsglory's debut title. It was first revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2025.
A Cross-Platform Creature-Catcher
From the start, Aniimo has been built as a free-to-play, cross-platform title, intended to connect players across PC, console, and mobile in a single world. The game's executive producer is Jovi Zhang, and its original soundtrack theme, UNSTOPPABLE, is sung by jasyours and composed by GALACTIKA, and released in August 2025.

Aniimo is confirmed for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android, with a launch window of Q3 2026. The PlayStation 5 version was added later in development, after an initial reveal focused on Xbox, PC, and mobile. The game has run several closed beta tests across 2025 and 2026 ahead of launch. On PC, Aniimo supports NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution.
Pre-Registration and Beta Testing
Ahead of launch, Aniimo opened global pre-registration, which surpassed 10 million sign-ups by mid-2026. Milestone rewards announced for the campaign include in-game items such as Glimmer and the Aniipod Ultra, a premium version of the catching tool.

The game has run several closed beta tests. The first closed beta was held on PC in the summer of 2025. A second closed beta followed in early 2026 across PC and mobile, with player data reset afterward. A Global Closed Beta opened in the summer of 2026 on PC, iOS, and Android. The Global Closed Beta is the third closed beta, following the first test in 2025 and the second test in early 2026. A regional beta wave was dated to July 2, 2026, and the global closed beta began on July 9, 2026 (UTC+8) as a limited data-wipe test running on PC (via Steam and the standalone Aniimo launcher), iOS, and Android, with sign-ups having closed on July 5, 2026.
