Expanded Chirpi-family branch requirements, regional encounters, complete skill access and practical Wind builds
Cornet is No. 009 in the Aniimo index, a Wind creature that fights in the DPS role. They can produce loud, piercing noises that resonate throughout the entire beach just to draw attention.

Wild Aniimo are taken with Aniipods, and once caught this one can be raised, sent into battle, kept at The Homeland, or traded to another player. It belongs to the Chirpi line, which runs to 4 entries in total, and 3 alternate Forms have been published for it.

The index publishes six base values for every Aniimo plus an Attributes total that adds them together. ATK drives damage, BREAK is what wears down an enemy's guard, P.DEF and M.DEF cover the two damage types, and REGEN governs how quickly resources come back. These are base figures and balance changes can move them.

P.DEF | 74 |

Besides its Basic Form, Cornet has 3 published Forms. Each of them carries a different elemental pairing from the Basic Form, so the Form a Pathfinder catches decides what the creature is weak and strong against.

| Highland Form | Wind / Grass | |

Cornet is listed in 1 habitat. Which creatures actually appear also depends on weather, time of day, and local phenomena, so a listed habitat is where to look rather than a guarantee.

Every Aniimo carries a passive Trait that is always active while it fights alongside a Pathfinder.
Trait | Effect |
|---|---|
Air Superiority | Increases critical rate by 20% while flying. |
The index grades three traversal capabilities, Climb, Fly and Swim, from level 1 to level 3. A Pathfinder inherits them by Twining with the creature, so Cornet is worth keeping for how it gets you across the map as well as for what it does in a fight.
Capability | Grade |
|---|---|
Fly | Level 3 |
Mobility abilities are named actions used while Twined. They are separate from combat skills and graded traversal capabilities.
Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
Take Off | Enters the Flying state to evade attacks from ground enemies. Takes more DMG while airborne. |
The table includes six combat moves across Cornet's forms and capture unlocks, plus the innate attack and ultimate. The form table below distinguishes listed skills from learnable additions. Power gives the damage value and Cost gives the resource requirement.
Skill | Type | Power | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Lightning Splitter | Combat | 30 | 10 | Fires multiple Electric Projectiles at nearby targets. If multiple projectiles hit the same unit, [paralyzes] the target for 5s. Hold the skill button to automatically enter the Fly state after the skill is cast. |
Wind Bomb Rush | Combat | 157 | 45 | Goes all out, rapidly firing a continuous barrage of wind projectiles. |
Tornado | Combat | 59 | 20 | Releases an air vortex at the target location, dealing damage and pulling enemies toward the center. |
Scream Splitter | Combat | 30 | 10 | Fires multiple Screech Rounds at nearby targets. If multiple projectiles hit the same unit, Cornet's damage increases by 30% for 15s. Hold the Skill button to automatically enter the Fly state after the skill is cast. |
Water Tornado | Combat | 45 | 20 | Releases a water vortex at the target location, dealing damage and pulling enemies toward the center. Each hit deducts 4 Energy from the target. |
Leaf Tornado | Combat | 45 | 20 | Releases a leaf vortex at the target location, dealing damage and pulling enemies toward the center. Continuously absorbs puddles nearby, dealing 100% extra damage upon successful absorption. |
ATK | Innate | 6 | 0 | Wields the power of wind to attack targets from a distance. |
Avian Harmony Ensemble | Innate | 179 | 0 | Fires a powerful wind-type beam at the target. If you have all three Movements equipped, the attack’s area of effect expands. |
Form | Encounter route | Where to search |
|---|---|---|
Basic | Open the shells; Wild Surge chance | The farthest island of The Argent Strait after opening all its shells, or an Argent Strait Wild Surge |
Beach | Wild encounter | Echoback Landing beach across from the RV Park, or the beach near Alpha Stellarys in Forest of Falling Stars |
Highland | Wild encounter | Zephyrus Landbridge, on the landmass across from Alpha Magmarex |
Prismana | Prismatic Energy | White-sand beaches in The Argent Strait |
The Beach form can appear at any time. For Prismana, plan around one encounter during the active event rather than expecting an immediate replacement spawn.
Form | Listed combat skills | Learnable additions |
|---|---|---|
Basic | Wind Bomb Rush; Tornado; Scream Splitter | Water Tornado; Lightning Splitter; Leaf Tornado |
Beach | Wind Bomb Rush; Water Tornado; Tornado; Scream Splitter | Lightning Splitter; Leaf Tornado |
Highland | Wind Bomb Rush; Leaf Tornado; Tornado; Scream Splitter | Water Tornado; Lightning Splitter |
Prismana | Wind Bomb Rush; Lightning Splitter; Tornado; Scream Splitter | Water Tornado; Leaf Tornado |
Catch Prismana Cornet to unlock Lightning Splitter. Catch a Beach form of Chirpi, Tromber, Cornet or Tubster for Water Tornado, or a Highland form from that family for Leaf Tornado. The innate attack remains ranged Wind magic, and the ultimate is Avian Harmony Ensemble.
Pair Wind Bomb Rush with Scream Splitter. A family party uses Chirpi for March, Tromber for Waltz and Spiral Blade, and Tubster to shield, break and provide Concerto. These three movement buffs support Cornet's damage window.
Form | Attack | BREAK | REGEN | HP | P.DEF / M.DEF |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Basic | 5 | 4 | 4 | 2 | 1 / 1 |
Beach, Highland and Prismana | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 / 1 |
The priority numbers compare the six stats within this build. ENFP is one personality example, and Ferocious Fang is a held-item option for the repeated barrage. The contracted core skill reduces EP cost by 8% for each different active Symphony buff.
Eklue is an alternative to Chirpi when more Wind support matters and March is covered by contracted Waltz. Somniwing instead favors EP recovery. Compare the resulting healing, recovery and buff coverage before changing the full family party.
Begin with Chirpi's March, then apply Tromber's Waltz and Spiral Blade. Use its ultimate when available. Switch to Tubster for Gale Guard, its wind projectiles and basic attacks; return to March if the movement buffs are close to expiring.
After Tubster breaks the enemy, cast and hold Scream Splitter with Cornet to enter Flying. Aim Wind Bomb Rush during that break window, then use Avian Harmony Ensemble if an ultimate charge and enough time remain. Its beam covers a larger area with all three movement buffs active.
Water Tornado is a form-dependent alternative when grouping enemies and removing EP are more useful than the main barrage rotation. Leaf Tornado rewards nearby puddles, so a team that chooses it needs a way to provide that setup.
Form | Wind | Additional ability |
