Shield and break build
Pair Gale Guard with Pause Gust. Prioritize BREAK, then HP and REGEN, with Attack after those three. ENTJ is one personality example. Gargantuan Horn is a held-item option for this role. A shield activates Victory Concerto's 40% BREAK-efficiency bonus, so establish protection before concentrating on the break gauge.
Build | BREAK | HP | REGEN | Attack | P.DEF / M.DEF |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Shield and break | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 / 1 |
A family party pairs the selected Tubster form with Chirpi, Tromber and a Cornet damage dealer. Basic, Beach and Prismana Cornet are example damage choices. A party using contracted Waltz can instead use another support such as Eklue.
Apply the support effects, activate Gale Guard and follow with Pause Gust and basic attacks. Press Gale Guard again to end the stance early when an immediate shield and shorter field time matter. Holding the stance is another choice when repeated attacks are expected. If the shield is lost, rotate out and return when it can be applied again. Let Tubster cause the break, then pass the opening to the damage dealer.
Gale Guard bases its initial shield on maximum HP, so losing current HP does not reduce that base amount. Its contract converts 30% of the remaining shield into healing when it expires; a shield depleted before expiry leaves nothing to convert. Consider that conditional recovery when comparing contract upgrades.
Ceasefire Drum provides 35% damage reduction for 7 seconds to allies within its field. It is a defensive choice when surviving pressure matters; compare it with another party member's offensive or support ultimate for the next window.
