Overview

Silver Palace has a roster of playable characters obtainable through story progression, gacha pulls, and in-game events. Players build parties of up to four characters and switch between them during combat. Each character has a fixed element, class, weapon type, and unique ability kit.

Monotype Beta Roster

Seven characters were playable during the Monotype Beta (January 13-18, 2026):

• The Detective (5-star, Gravitas, Hero) - the player protagonist with gravity manipulation and dual melee/ranged stances

• Cinderella (5-star, Ignis) - flame sword and machine gun wielder; also appears as a boss encounter

• Cynthia II (5-star, Ignis, Witness) - fire support specialist from House Luna with bread-kitty crowd control

• Lorin (4-star, Fulmen, Guardian) - Chief Inspector of the River Constabulary; electric boxing gloves

• Alf (4-star, Ignis, Hero) - MISS Maid No. 49; shotgun with flamethrower attachment

• Firtho (4-star, Radiatio, Guardian) - doctor at The Corner Clinic; saw cleaver and syringes

• Argos (4-star, Glacies, Witness) - bartender and former MISS member; cane sword with healing abilities

Other Confirmed Characters

• Rose (Red Rose) - dancer and Florian superstar, shown in the reveal trailer with a concealed weapon

Ashley - the Detective's young assistant. Recommended for the role by Chief Inspector Lorin, she manages clerical and household duties at the Detective's office. She has not been listed as a playable character in either closed beta.

Rex - Superintendent of the River Constabulary. He was introduced through an official character title page during the reveal cycle for the Dichotomy Beta Test. The second test's own reward announcement names him as a 5-star of the Hero class; his weapon has not been officially detailed.

Red Rose is playable from the second closed beta, and she also narrates the July 2026 gameplay showcase that previewed it. Her confirmed rarity, class and element appear in the roster table below.

Expected Roster Size

A July 2026 announcement puts the second closed beta's roster at 15 characters, 8 of them new to that test. That is a test-build figure rather than a launch roster: many characters shown in beta builds are reworked, held back or reserved for later updates, and the actual launch roster size has not been officially announced.

How to Obtain Characters

During the beta, characters were obtainable through story progression (the Detective), gacha pulls, the crystal exchange system (Cynthia II), and sign-in event rewards (Cinderella). The full game is expected to use a gacha system similar to other free-to-play action RPGs, with rate-up banners for featured characters.

Party Building

Players assemble parties of up to four characters. Party composition is affected by class synergies and the Silverdrip combat mechanic that rewards frequent character switching. A well-built party balances elemental coverage, damage output, survivability, and Silverdrip generation. Resonance is a per-character meter rather than a party-composition bonus: each character fills their own meter as they attack, and the effect that fires when it fills is set by that character's Reactor attribute.

Dichotomy Beta Roster

The Dichotomy Beta expanded the playable roster past the first test's seven. Rarity, class and elemental attribute are now confirmed for the new arrivals through their official character title pages and the test's own in-game listings:

These arrivals fill two class slots that had no playable carrier in the first test: Bentham is the first Outlaw, and Red Rose, Gucia and Captain Kaboom are the first Saviours. Gucia is also the first playable carrier of the Alba element. Only the Victim class and the Ferrugo element are still without one.

The official character index carries fifteen filled profiles across sixteen avatar slots, the last left blank for a character who has not been announced. Counting both protagonists, the Detective accounts for two of those profiles, one for each protagonist option, and official title pages treat the two as an elder sister and a younger brother rather than as one character in two presentations.
