ANANTA's roster is built around Espers people with supernatural abilities who work within (or alongside) the A.C.D. to fight Chaos. There is no character gacha; every character is unlocked through story progression and open-world exploration.
Players assemble a team of four and can switch between them on the fly. Each character has their own combat style, job, traversal moves, and personal story arc. The developers compare the structure to Marvel films: characters live their own lives but come together for major events.
Confirmed playable (from CBT1)
These three characters were playable in the January 2026 Closed Beta Test, alongside the Captain:
Captain the player character, task force leader. Male or female at the player's choice.
Taffy delivery courier who transforms her hammer into a rideable bike. Leader of the Yeet Squad.
Richie NCCA police officer. Aggressive combo-based fighter who can snipe from helicopters.

Seymour genius hacker who lives in an RV. Wears a mask he refuses to explain.
Alan social butterfly and part-time model. Fights with two spinning yo-yos that trail ice effects.
Bansy street artist with a punk aesthetic. Uses a gun that shoots lasers with paint splashes.
Dila investigates the Nova City meteor disaster. Can control meteors and assume a giant form.
Mechanika "ghost worker" at Shorewater Industries. Animates machines and throws robot concerts.
Lykaia Prime Minister of Nova City. Long lavender hair, wolf-like instincts. Seen drifting a blue car in trailers.
Aileen connected to Dream Garden. Seen playing mahjong with a robot.
Ringo appeared playing volleyball in the announcement trailer. Bio was removed from the official website in September 2025.
