These walkthroughs cover selected regional quests and story steps in Verteron and Altgard. Follow the route for your faction and finish any prerequisite shown in the Journal. Recommended levels help identify the quest; use the current Journal for its active requirements and reward preview.

Hero Quests form the main story chain. Regional side quests appear separately, while Ascension quests advance the shared milestone chain. Duty missions have their own repeatable rules. Plan these quests alongside the current rules for your service.

Regional quest starting points

Questionable Methods

Speak to Ione.

1. Retrieve the Fafnite cart from the nearby farm.

2. Enter the Scarlotus Experiment Site and speak to Ione. Place four Fafnite piles, then speak to Phernos in the center.

3. Defeat the specter that appears and destroy all four piles. Speak to Ione before leaving the quest instance.

4. Speak to Phernos outside, near the entrance, to finish.

Named rewards include Torn Forbidden Bookcase and Facade Ring.

Shugo-of-All-Trades: Elyos

Speak to Dari.

1. Descend toward the field of white flowers and search the debris for Dari's materials bag.

2. Bring the bag back to Dari at the Coastal Camp.

The reward listing includes a Cube Expansion Voucher and the Everything Has Its Use title. Check the voucher itself for the expansion it provides.

Unspoken Story

Speak to Nania.

1. Speak to Caelid and visit the Dawn Legion Command Post. Inside, speak to Nania, inspect the desk and bookshelf area, then speak to her again.

2. Visit Pamos Farm and ask the owner about Luteros. Follow the quest to the Bandit Den.

3. Search the barrels for Pamos Wine and speak to Luteros. Clear the awakened bandits and leave with him.

4. Return to the farm and speak to Pamos and Eldron. Accompany Luteros to the final quest location for the turn-in.

Dawn Necklace is a named reward. The wine story concerns Luteros's annual visit to his brother's memorial.

Young Elim's Story

Speak to Lulu.

1. Ask the Forest Spirit at Elim's Rest how to help Lulu.

2. Enter the Hermit's Cave and defeat the Cave Spiders. Continue the quest through the Dry Shade area in Moslan Forest.

3. Collect Mother Elim's Essence, then travel to Odar's Shade. Interact with the ground to bury the essence and complete the ritual.

Named rewards include Outsider Necklace and the Sapling Planter title.

Shugo-of-All-Trades: Asmodian

Speak to Dari.

1. From Dari's camp, head toward the nearby shore and find Dari's Materials Bag.

2. Clear any enemies obstructing the bag, collect it and return to Dari at the camp.

The reward listing includes a Cube Expansion Voucher and the Everything Has Its Use title. This is the Altgard route; the Elyos version starts in Western Cantas Valley.

Preparing the Spacetime Rift quests

At level 45, Elyos can begin the regional Rift quest with Mino at the Dawn Legion Temporary Outpost in Verteron. Asmodians can begin with Uru in Altgard's Collapsed Chasm. Accept the matching quest bundle before crossing so its collection objectives can progress during the same visit.

Follow the portal announcement and the Rift icon on the map. The introductory crossing objective registers after entering the opposing territory; the other quests still need their own objectives. Return to your faction's quest giver for the relevant turn-ins. Use the Spacetime Rifts guide for service-specific portal and stay limits.

The introductory Rift reward listing distinguishes Facade Ring and Altgard Traveler for Elyos from Outsider Ring and Verteron Traveler for Asmodians. Check the active Journal reward preview before planning around currency or point-item amounts.

Spacetime Rift: An Honest Shugo

For the Asmodian quest, speak to Uru at the Graverobber Campsite in Altgard and accept it before crossing into Verteron. Collect five Highland Crestlich Feathers in the marked area, then return to Uru in Altgard. Avenger Ring and the Action over Words title are named rewards.

Elyos story steps in Episode 4

These steps belong to The Past Behind the Sealed Barrier. Complete each quest's prerequisite in the table below.

Shugonapped

1. Hunt Gravi and Magic Gravi enemies in Northern Tolbas Forest until you have four Gravi Herbs.

2. Return to Kochi's Quarters and enter for the scene. Speak to Caelid, Poro and Gogomo.

3. Examine the chest containing a ledger, the opened ledger and the torn letter. Speak to Caelid again after he moves outside.

Life Serum is listed as an additional reward. Finding Kochi follows this quest.

Shugo Tracks

1. Speak to the Aullaeu Sentinel and Trainee in the village. Find and read the scattered logs.

2. Go to the cages and defeat the nearby villagers. Speak to the confined Shugo after the fight.

3. Return to Bao at the village border for the turn-in.

Wind Breeze Guard is a named reward. Shugo in the Cellar follows this quest.

Shugo in the Cellar

1. Speak to Caelid in the village and enter the Root Cellar.

2. Fight through the cellar, help the Shugo Survivor and continue to Aultross. Defeat Aultross.

3. After the quest returns you outside, speak to Kochi to finish.

The weapon reward is one Wind Breeze weapon matched to the character's class. Check the Journal for that class's listed reward.

The level-45 Ascension route

The One Who Witnesses the Nightmare is Path of Ascension IV for both factions. Begin with Asahr at the Dream Crossroad. Follow the Empyrean Lord and dream names shown by your own faction's quest.

1. Let Asahr transfer you to the collapsed barracks. Open the Barracks Door and defeat the wraiths inside.

2. Proceed to the platform and defeat the Sanctuary Guardian. Interact with the blood token, then speak to Asahr for the next transfer.

3. Defeat the nightmare named by your quest. Interact with the Dream Fragment and speak to Asahr again.

4. At the Dream of Torment, interact with the Dream Artifact to play the final scene.

The reward listing names Asahr's Mirror, Ascension Bracelet and Ultimate Daeva Wings. Check the current quest preview for equipment grade and reward details.

Daeva Trapped in a Nightmare

Complete Forgotten Commander and the level-45 Ascension quest.

1. Visit Asahr at the Dream Crossroad and finish The One Who Witnesses the Nightmare if it is still pending.

2. Return to Nemon at the Outskirts Stall to turn in this story step.

The next listed story quest is To Morheim. Its travel and progression requirements remain separate from this turn-in.

Further Path of Ascension walkthroughs

Asahr gives these quests at the Dream Crossroad. Follow the version offered to your faction and the active steps in your Journal.

The One Who Perceives

1. Speak with Asahr and enter the Subspace of Ascension.

2. Fly through the First Mirror. Use the Flight Circles on the following stretch to reach the Second Mirror.

3. After passing the Second Mirror, catch the updraft and glide toward the Third Mirror. Pass through it and return to Asahr.

Lesser Daeva Wings are the named additional reward.

The One Who Hears the Voice

1. Let Asahr take you into Dream Remnants. Clear the Dream Guardians and Dream Watchers in the first encounter.

2. Defeat the following Dream Guardian Knights and Dream Knights. Clearing these waves brings out Dream Guardian Eonos; defeat him.

3. Accompany Asahr into the Dream of Torment and activate the Dream Artifact to finish the sequence.

The One Who Dreams

1. Speak with Asahr and enter the Forgotten Battlefield. Defeat the Drakan Specters and the other enemies holding the legionnaires.

2. After freeing the legionnaires, speak to Satia and follow Asahr into Narun's Dream.

3. Defeat the Seker Brigade, then use the Windstream Activation Device to reach Narun.

4. Subdue Narun until a conversation prompt appears. His HP does not need to reach zero; speak with him when prompted.

5. Go with Asahr to the Dream Artifact and interact with it.

Named additional rewards include Superior Daeva Wings and the Artifact of Eternity.

The One Who Swears the Oath

Follow this route when Path of Ascension V is offered in your Journal.

1. Travel with Asahr into the Abyss encounter. Open the door, clear the enemies beyond it and use the updraft to reach the boss named by your faction's quest.

2. After defeating that boss, resonate with the Abyssal Core and continue through the next door.

3. Take the oath at the Monoliths of Liberation, Guardian and Purification.

4. Follow Asahr onward, defeat Scribe Vellum and speak with Asahr for the turn-in.

More Elyos Episode 4 steps

These quests fill gaps around the Kochi and Aullaeu Village routes above. Each one has its own prerequisite.

Mutual Benefit

1. At the Dawn Legion Temporary Outpost, speak with Caelid at his tent and then Bao nearby.

2. Collect two Lugi Luggage Bundles near the Kibelisk and begin escorting Bao toward Northern Shugo Station.

3. Gather five Lost Items of Wind Breeze Merchants along the route so Bao can continue.

4. At the broken bridge beside the lake, defeat the six Aullaeu that appear behind the escort. Speak to Bao to resume the journey, then speak to him at the station tent to finish.

Wind Breeze Gloves are a named additional reward.

Finding Kochi

1. Speak with Caelid outside Kochi's Quarters, then search Northern Tolbas Forest.

2. Destroy the Aullaeu Defense Totem and defeat three Forest Konutins in the quest area.

3. Inspect the Weapon Remnant, then return to Bao outside Kochi's Quarters.

Wind Breeze Boots are a named additional reward.

Thorough Preparation: Elyos

1. Speak with Bao and destroy the Aullaeu Sorcery Totem in Eastern Tolbas Forest.

2. Meet Bao at the Aullaeu Village border, then enter the village and read the Aullaeu Orders.

3. Gather the transformation materials requested by the quest and return to Caelid at the village border.

Status Effect Resist Scroll is a named additional reward. Continue with Shugo Tracks after the turn-in.

Forgotten Commander: Asmodian

Complete Farewells, then speak with Menrik at Fang Hideout. This story step takes the character through Draupnir before the trip into the Abyss.

1. Enter Draupnir from Black Claw Village and complete the Expedition by defeating Transcendent Bakarma.

2. Return to Black Claw Village and take the quest's route into the Abyss. The Abyss menu entry is another option when it is available to the character.

3. Speak with Koro at Latesran Eastern Root to finish.

The weapon reward is one Spiritforged weapon matched to the character's class. Daeva Trapped in a Nightmare follows this quest.
