Correct global Ludra grade and item level while preserving Korean Hero equipment tables.
The Spellbook (법서) is the weapon of the Sorcerer in AION 2. In the official item database every spellbook carries the class restriction 마도성, so only a Sorcerer can equip it, and a Sorcerer can equip no other weapon type; every class can additionally equip a Guard. The global client lists the weapon type as Spellbook. Weapons follow the same grades, enhancement, sockets and Soul Inscription as the rest of the gear; see Weapons for the overview. Stats and item levels below come from the Korean service's official item database, checked on October 7, 2026.
Unique: enhances to +15, then five breakthrough stages; four manastone slots and one Theostone slot.
Hero: enhances to +20, then five breakthrough stages; five manastone slots and one Theostone slot.
Enhancement costs and odds are the same for every weapon type of a grade and item level; see Enhancement and Breakthrough.
Transfer of enhancement and Soul Inscription only works between items of the same type: a weapon can only pass its progress to the same class's weapon type.
Some Spellbook items are classified with the suffix (Extend) (늘어남) in the item database, for example the Ludra, Corroded Ruler, Lava Heart and Liberated White Night pieces and the [진] tier. NCsoft's English announcement names the Chalice of Muspel reward Lava Heart Weapon (Extend), and its July 15, 2026 patch notes fixed Extend weapons applying a wider skill range than intended, which suggests the label concerns skill range.
Where two names appear, the first is the Elyos version and the second the Asmodian version; the two share stats. The global client has an English name only for the Ludra pieces; NCsoft's English announcements have used Genesis and Nemesis Dragon Lord, Lava Heart and Archon Praetorian Captain. Every other English name in this table is a provisional plain rendering, given with the Korean name.

The main Unique lines are the Draconic crafted ones (True and Star Dragon Lord, White and Dark Dragon Lord, Wise and Ebony Dragon Lord, then the Korean-only Cheonryong, Maryong, Hyeonryong and Jeokryong lines and their Splendent versions), the Abyss shop ranks Decanus, Centurion and Tribunus, and named dungeon and boss drops. The English names marked as global client names exist in the global client's item data (build dated September 18, 2026). That data holds the Unique Draconic lines up to the Splendent Wise and Ebony Dragon Lord pieces and the Ludra Unique pieces at item level 102, but none of the later Korean lines, so this client dataset covers fewer tiers than the Korean item database. As of October 7, 2026, NCsoft had not published a global equipment schedule.
