Mechanics
Nazarak pulls players in with a purple field while striking in lines, burrows underground to chase a single player, and leaps to the centre to send out rings that have to be jumped. Like every boss in the hall, he applies damage over time, so cleansing potions are standard.
His wipe mechanic starts when he loses a segment of health. His stagger gauge locks and he leaps to the middle of the room with a wedge-shaped attack and a purple ring. Red eye marks appear on the players and four glowing circles form around the arena at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions, which never change, so experienced groups move towards them in advance. A ghost spawns for each marked player and follows them. Leading the ghost into a circle destroys it; two players in the same circle make the ghosts burst, and a ghost that reaches a player spreads Fear. Once the ghosts are gone everyone runs to the safe zone beside Nazarak before his attack covers the rest of the room. A smaller version marks a single player and sends one ghost.
Since parties became five strong on July 1, 2026, players report that three, occasionally four, players are marked in the group version, and that the marks now appear as soon as the stagger gauge locks.
