Chanter Global Starter Build
October 24, 2026 at 10:22 PM
Add a PvE loadout example with effective-level priorities and practical skill timing.
This provisional Global PvE setup combines the Chanter's attack chains with party support. Practice the damage loop while keeping healing and defensive actions within reach. Add the suggested Stigmas as slots become available, adjusting the choices to the encounter.
Use Onslaught and its follow-ups to recover MP between attacks. Incandescent Blow spends MP and leads into Bursting Blow. If repeated attacks drain the resource, return to the recovery chain before committing to another sequence.
Spinning Strike grants a critical-damage buff when it hits and opens Dark Crush. Impactful Crush also opens Dark Crush. Watch the follow-up prompt and use Dark Crush when available; another opening skill does not guarantee that the follow-up is ready. These ranged attacks let the Chanter keep contributing while repositioning.
Use Gust Rampage when the target is staggered. Wave Blow requires a stunned target, so its ordinary control sequence should not be assumed to work against an immune boss.
Stigma candidate | Reason to consider it |
|---|---|
Undefeated Mantra | Party damage and damage tolerance |
Sprint Mantra | Movement and healing from successful attacks |
Marchutan's Wrath | Another ranged opener for Dark Crush |
Healing Touch or Focused Defense | Extra party healing or a deliberate personal block |
Recuperation supplies healing and debuff removal during the attack loop. Keep it manually accessible. Coordinate buffs with a Cleric: Undefeated Mantra's damage bonus does not stack with Light of Protection, and the Damage Tolerance reduction from Earth's Promise does not stack with Chain of Torment.
For initial practice, concentrate improvements on the attack chain being repeated and the support skill the group needs. Recuperation specialties can add cleansing or extend healing; Onslaught can improve MP recovery. Inspect unlocked specialties before choosing between damage and sustain.
The exact point order and encounter-specific damage comparisons remain unverified. This is an incomplete starting setup. Use Chanter Skills for the Global tooltip distinctions, Stigma System for slot progression, and Global Progression Walkthrough for character development.
These are effective-level targets for one loadout example. Mastery skill points raise a skill to level 10; equipment, Arcana and the Daevanion Board supply additional levels. Keep the activation conditions and available specialty slots in the skill tables when choosing options.
Skill family | Effective level | Priority skills |
|---|---|---|
Active | 20 | Dark Crush; Spinning Strike |
Active | 16 | Incandescent Blow |
Active | 14 | Onslaught; Rushing Smash; Gust Rampage; Heat Wave Blow; Wave Blow |
Active | 9 | Recuperation |
Active | 5 | Impactful Crush; Tremor Crush; Defiance |
Passive | 20 | Attack Preparation |
Passive | 15 | Blessing of Life; Crossguard; Protection Circle; Inspiring Spell; Impact Hit; Raging Spell; Earth's Promise; Wind's Promise |
Passive | 14 | Survival Willpower |
Selected Stigma | Effective level | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
Undefeated Mantra | 20 | Maintain the party damage and tolerance toggle. |
Sprint Mantra | 20 | Maintain the party movement and attack-triggered recovery toggle. |
Marchutan's Wrath | 20 | Open a Dark Crush window and add a separate ranged hit. |
Fracturing Blow | 20 | Close distance and reduce the target's Defense. |
Prepare both mantras, then use the ranged skills that open Dark Crush. Spinning Strike and Marchutan's Wrath are part of that plan; Impactful Crush and Ensnaring Mark are other triggers when chosen for the loadout. Use the Piercing Strike follow-up when its specialty is equipped, and return to the Onslaught chain when MP needs recovery.
Cast Recuperation manually when the party needs healing or cleansing. Tremor Crush follows Dodge or flight, Heat Wave Blow normally answers a block, and Gust Rampage requires Stagger. Fracturing Blow can be replaced by Ensnaring Mark for more control or by Power of the Storm for a party speed and cooldown window; each replaces one selected Stigma.
Attack supports both damage and the Attack-based Heal Boost from Blessing of Life. Combat Speed and critical performance help the attack window, but leave room for the survival and recovery needed to keep party support active.
