Battlefield: Siege is the instanced team battlefield that arrived with the Chapter 1. Lands of Sand and Snow update on July 1, 2026 on the Korean and Taiwanese service. NCsoft's English announcement describes it as a mode in which players capture a total of three zones to earn points, with every team starting under identical conditions. NCsoft's first global developer livestream in August 2026 announced a ten-against-ten battleground mode for the global launch, with players' skill levels equalised; as of October 2, 2026, NCsoft has not published its global schedule or rewards.
The Korean patch note for July 1 describes the same change in its own terms: the battlefield became ten against ten, every participant's stats are equalised, and a new battlefield type replaced the previous map. The rest of this page follows the Korean service's rules.
Element | Detail |
|---|---|
Teams | Ten against ten (since July 1, 2026) |
Objective | Capture and hold three zones to earn points |
Stats | Equal for every participant. Mastery skills are fixed at level 20 and Stigma skills at level 25, and new skills cannot be learned inside. Some base stats inside were adjusted on July 8, 2026. |
Healing | Since August 12, 2026 the reduced healing and reduced potion recovery that used to be applied as entry debuffs are part of the battlefield's base stats. Potion recovery is unchanged, but healing received is 30% lower than before. |
Spawn protection | Players at their own team's resurrection point were made invincible on July 15, 2026. On August 12 this became a defense boost strong enough that almost no damage gets through, with clearer visuals. |
Inactivity | Players who stay out of combat too long are removed (August 12, 2026); the criteria were relaxed on August 19 |
Since April 8, 2026 the battlefield opens only at set times on the Korean service: daily from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 20:00 to 22:00 Korean time. No later change to those hours appears in the Korean patch notes through September 30, 2026.
Since August 12, 2026 the battlefield queues only solo players or full five-player groups. Five-player groups are matched against five-player groups and solo players against solo players, with a class-balance correction between the two teams.
Teams are formed regardless of faction (since August 12, 2026), so Elyos and Asmodians can play on the same side.
A player who has already earned the maximum number of weekly win rewards cannot queue as a party (since April 8, 2026).
The August 19, 2026 patch fixed matching failing after a cross-server party finished a battle.
