The Missile Pen is a pen-form micro-missile launcher in 007 First Light. It destroys armored enemies, breakable walls, and reinforced environmental cover. It is the most overtly destructive gadget in the catalog and is unlocked partway through Chapter 7 (Knightfall).

Unlock
Unlocked partway through Chapter 7 (Knightfall). The corporate-facility chapter introduces the Missile Pen as Q Branch's response to Webb Industries' reinforced security defenses.
Tactical Simulation Mode Unlock
In Tactical Simulation Mode, the Missile Pen is not available from the start. It is one of the higher-tier purchases gated behind Clearance Level 15. Clearance is the non-decreasing progress level in TacSim, raised by completing Escalations, Operations, and Challenges to earn Intel, the mode's currency. Until Bond reaches Clearance Level 15, the Missile Pen cannot be bought for TacSim loadouts even though it is already available in the story campaign from Knightfall onward.
This makes the Missile Pen one of the later TacSim unlocks. Players focused on TacSim should prioritize the Escalation challenges, which award the most Intel per run, to reach Clearance Level 15 faster.
