Aleph
September 14, 2026 at 03:18 AM
Created a hub page for Aleph covering its two chapters, named areas, collectibles, and the announced post-launch content set there
Aleph is the pirate-run black-market hub in Mauritania that anchors two of the campaign's middle chapters. It is ruled by the warlord Bawma, the self-styled King of Aleph, and it is the most open-ended space in 007 First Light: the objective is a target sum rather than a fixed route, and the ways of reaching it can be taken in any order.
Field | Value |

Chapters | Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 |

Arrival | By Land Rover across the desert, then in through the hull of a rusted ship |
Structure | Open hub with independent Opportunities that can be completed in any order |
The central objective of The Past Never Dies is to raise 100,000 dollars in Aleph's Black Market so Bond can buy into Bawma's private auction and pick up the trail of the rogue agent 009. Several independent Opportunities run in parallel, and the player is free to combine whichever ones they like to reach the threshold. A local fixer, Barkhad Ali, handles the auction fee, and a militia called Scorpius is running its own operation near the market entrance. After the auction the chapter moves to Aleph's Port, where Bond works across a freighter to reach the boat 009 is hiding on.
The return visit in Beyond the Grave turns Aleph hostile. Named areas across the two chapters include the Black Market, the Market, Casa de Bawma, the Mentor Tunnels, the Fight Club, the PMC HQ vault, the Aleph entrance, Aleph's Port, and the Logoship, a wrecked cargo ship along the coastline that Bond and John Greenway explore. The chapter also carries a Crypto Wallet opportunity and the Silent Line challenge.
Mauritania carries 12 of the campaign's 92 Collectibles, the densest of them in The Past Never Dies. Two Mementos are specific to Aleph: the Pirate Grillz, bought for 1,000 cash from the Black Market vendor opposite the woman who asks Bond to retrieve a ruby, and the Crocodile Tooth, available after escaping Bawma's crocodile pit.
Aleph is named twice in the Year One content roadmap. A Tactical Simulation Mode update adds off-road driving challenges in the black market, and Bawma's announced return brings Bond back to Aleph on a mission the King of Aleph personally requests. Re-checked on September 13, 2026, neither had a release date. See the Year One Roadmap page for the rest of the plan.
