Wall (Stone and Timber) is the high-tier wall piece in Windrose's base-building system. The Stone-and-Timber set replaces the early Clay-and-Log walls once Foothills resources are available, raising max health from 1,000 to 2,500 (a 2.5x durability gain) at the cost of more expensive stone and timber inputs per piece.
This piece belongs to the Stone and Timber set, the recommended end-game wall tier for any base that expects to be raided by NPC ships or by other players in PvP-enabled servers. Set siblings include: Wall (Stone and Timber), Large Wall (Stone and Timber), Left Panel (Stone and Timber), and Right Panel (Stone and Timber). The matching roof tier is the stone-and-timber roof family covered under Building Pieces.
Piece | Role |
|---|---|
Standard square wall, 2,500 max health. | |
Tall double-height wall for the same set. | |
Angled left panel for diagonal wall joins. | |
Angled right panel for diagonal wall joins. |
Wall (Stone and Timber) snaps cleanly into the same grid slots used by the base-tier walls, so an upgrade pass is straightforward: dismantle the Clay-and-Log piece, place the Stone-and-Timber replacement, and the connecting roof and foundation pieces remain locked. The visual jump is sharp; mixing sets on the same exterior face leaves a noticeable seam, so most players upgrade an entire wall run at once.
The 2,500 max-health rating means a stone-and-timber wall absorbs roughly 2.5x more damage than the equivalent clay-and-log wall before failing. In practice, this is the difference between surviving a ship-cannon volley and not. For coastal-facing surfaces, exterior corner runs, and the sea-side of any Pier-adjacent base, the upgrade is the single best raid-defense investment.
Each piece costs 1 Stone and 1 Wood, a slightly higher per-piece price than the early walls in exchange for the 2,500 health rating. Stone is mined from rock nodes and Wood comes from felled trees, both plentiful once you push inland to the Foothills.
