Overview
Wall (Clay and Log) is a mid-tier wall piece in the Clay-and-Log building set, the natural successor to the starter Reed-and-Straw roofs in Windrose. Compared with the Reed-set huts, clay-and-log walls offer a cleaner exterior look, modestly better durability against early pirate raid damage, and a more substantial silhouette that pairs naturally with reed or straw roofing above.
Wall (Clay and Log) is the single-tile workhorse of the set, used for the bulk of any first base.
Building Set
This piece belongs to the Clay and Logs set, the base-set wall counterpart that ships unlocked alongside Plans: Reed Roofs and Clay Walls. Set siblings include: Wall (Clay and Log), Large Wall (Clay and Log), Triangular Wall (Clay), and the partner roof set Reed Roofs and Clay Walls.

Snap and Placement
Wall (Clay and Log) snaps onto any compatible foundation edge or atop another wall of the same set, with the standard wall-on-wall stacking allowed for two-story huts. The 1,000 max-health rating is shared with the base-tier reed and clay roof pieces, so a clay-and-log wall is no tougher than its roof counterpart in raid math.
For coastal bases that get attacked from the water, the Clay-and-Log set is a temporary tier; the long-term upgrade path is Wall (Stone and Timber) once Foothills stone deposits are flowing. The visual transition between sets snaps cleanly so partial upgrades on exterior-facing walls are practical.
If you want a flat-out tougher stone face instead, the limestone line is the other common upgrade target: the Large Wall (Limestone) reaches 2,500 max health, two and a half times the clay-and-log rating.
