Overview

Semi-Rounded Wall (Clay) is a curved clay wall piece used in base building. The semi-rounded shape lets you bend a wall run around a gentle curve instead of meeting at a hard corner, so it is handy for rounded towers, bay fronts, and softer building footprints in Windrose. Like the rest of the clay tier it reads as a weathered, crumbling masonry style rather than raw timber, which suits older stone-and-clay structures.

It costs two Clay per piece, builds in one second, and has 1,000 max health, the same baseline durability shared by the other clay walls. Clay is gathered from clay deposits and is one of the cheaper construction materials, so this piece is affordable to mass-place once the plan is read.

This piece is unlocked by reading the recipe paper Plans: Rounded Walls and Roofs, which adds the curved clay wall and roof pieces to your build menu at the Workbench. Reading the plan is permanent for that character, and the paper is consumed when read.

Snap and Placement

Semi-Rounded Wall (Clay) snaps onto a foundation edge or stacks on another wall in the same building system, the same way the straight clay walls do. Use it where a wall needs to curve: ringing a round tower, wrapping the prow end of a dockside structure, or smoothing the join between two sections that meet at a wide angle. Because every clay wall shares the 1,000 max-health value, mixing semi-rounded and straight pieces keeps a wall line evenly durable against combat and pirate raids.
