Currency and Cost

This plan costs 400 Piastre, the Spanish silver used for everyday trade. It is not priced in Guinea, the English gold reserved for the highest-end goods. If you are short on silver, the Smugglers of Port Royal will convert Guinea into Piastre, though the exchange rate is poor until your standing with them improves. Because one read unlocks the recipe forever, a single copy is all you need; any extra can be sold or held for a fresh character.

24-pounders are the mid-tier caliber. They fit most Brig-class secondary batteries and Frigate main batteries, and are available on the Brethren Frigate and Stock Frigate. They trade some reload rate for heavier shot than the 12-pounders, so Perfectly Ordered 24-pounders suit a Frigate that wants sustained fire without dropping to the lightest caliber.

Playstyle

Perfectly Ordered cannons reward chain-fire rotations. Landing a hit within 4 seconds of reload triggers +30% reload speed for 22 seconds, so a sustained broadside that keeps landing hits can run at a significantly higher fire rate than the base cannon. The bonus compounds with Gunroom Grog (+15% firearm reload, 30 min) for an aggressive mid-to-close-range volley chain.

Comparison to Other Variants
