Added Precision stat explainer, a materials and sourcing section, a related necklace lines comparison table, and an ascend economy tip; expanded wikilinks.
Necklace of Precision is a Rare necklace in Windrose that grants +10 Precision to the wearer. It is the Rare tier, which requires a learned plan to craft or ascend. It sits in the middle of the line and begins to use Gold and Sapphire in its recipes. Necklaces fill the neck accessory slot, so only one can be worn at a time.

Precision increases the damage of precision-based weapons. In practical terms it boosts Rapiers, Pistols, and Muskets
Precision necklaces are the default pick for Rapier duelists and firearm builds leaning on Pistols or Muskets.
Precision is one of the six core character stats. Unlike Mastery (which converts to crit chance) or Vitality (which adds flat HP), Precision feeds the damage formula of Rapiers, Pistols, and Muskets directly, so a +10 swing from this necklace is a flat investment toward every shot or thrust those weapons land. The neck slot is shared with no other accessory family except other necklaces, while the finger slot holds a separate ring, so a common end-game accessory pairing is this necklace plus a Precision-friendly ring such as the Cutthroat Ring.

Both the craft and ascend paths lean on refined metals plus one gemstone. Gold Ingot and Silver Ingot are smelted from their ores at a furnace, while Sapphire is a cut gemstone gathered from mineral nodes and chests. If you are short on Sapphire, the ascend route swaps it for ten extra Silver Ingot, which are far cheaper to mass-produce. All work happens at the Jewelery Table, which also crafts every ring in the game.
Necklaces are split by the stat they boost. The Precision line is built for ranged and finesse damage; the table below shows where it sits next to the other accessory lines a damage build might consider.
Line | Boosts | Best For |
|---|---|---|
Mastery (crit chance) | Crit-focused builds across any weapon | |
Saber and Blunderbuss builds |
Only one necklace and one ring can be equipped at a time. Pick the line that best matches the weapon you are building around.
Precision necklaces are the default pick for Rapier duelists and firearm builds leaning on Pistols or Muskets.
Every necklace in this line disassembles back into Silver Ingot × 3, regardless of tier.
Ascending from a Minor necklace costs Gold Ingot × 10 plus Silver Ingot × 10, while crafting from scratch costs Gold Ingot × 10 plus Sapphire × 2. Pick the path that matches which material you have more of.
The line tops out at the Epic Major Necklace of Precision (+15 Precision). If you intend to climb that far, hold onto a Minor Necklace of Precision rather than disassembling it, since each ascend step consumes the previous tier.
The gold-coated pendant glitters in the sun like the eye of a falcon that has spotted its prey from high above.
