Munitions is a Rare Trade Goods crate in Windrose tagged for the Rogue Buccaneers. The scratched-in warning reads "Open it and you're out of the cut." Each crate of Munitions is a sealed shipment of powder and shot, which means the crate has combat value if opened, but opening forfeits the Piastre payout at vendor.

All four Trade Goods Merchants pay a flat 200 Piastre rate per crate. The Rogue Buccaneers Buyer also accepts Munitions from the player. Selling to the matching faction camp is the standard route; the exact payout is posted at the Buyer stall in-game and may vary across patches. Trade Goods Merchants across all four player-facing factions pay a flat 200 Piastre per crate on their buy side.

Munitions drop from naval combat, especially mid-tier Blackbeard ships. The crate appears both as Destroyed Ship Container loot and as Boarding spoils.

Munitions are the canonical Buccaneer-tagged crate, but the Buyer at their base pays less than any Trade Goods Merchant. The practical loop is to sell Munitions to whichever Trade Goods Merchant is closest (200 Piastre flat), or hand over the crate to the Rogue Buccaneers Buyer at the Buccaneer camp for the faction-aligned payout.
Do not open the crate at vendor. Opening the seal destroys the Piastre payout.
Keep Munitions in the ship hold during Brig boarding runs. The crate stacks to 3, so a full 9-crate run netts 1,800 Piastre at any Trade Goods Merchant.
For reputation grinds with the Rogue Buccaneers, the faster track is turning in Newhand Insignia or Deckhand Insignia at the Bounty Agent; Munitions pay Piastre, not reputation.
