Function and Placement
This is a large structural pillar for base building. Pillars rise vertically to carry the load of floors and roofing above them and let a structure stand taller than walls alone allow. The large variant covers more vertical span than the single tile Pillar (Weathered), so it raises a level with fewer stacked placements.
It has 750 Max Health and is built from Wood, specifically a weathered log, which makes it one of the cheapest support pieces to set down early in a build. Like other building parts it snaps to the construction grid and can be removed and rebuilt as a base layout changes.
