The Fishing Barrel is a decorative prop in Windrose. As the description notes, it once had a function but now serves purely as decoration, adding to the comfort of a settled base. It is part of the broader Decoration: Fishing Barrels set, and a sturdier Large Fishing Barrel version exists for players who want a bigger prop with more health.
Comfort decorations only count while they sit inside the range of a lit Bonfire. Each placed Fishing Barrel contributes its Comfort bonus to the Comfort System, but the Miscellaneous category bonus does not stack, so placing several barrels does not raise comfort beyond the single +1 for that category.
