Metal Cage is a miscellaneous decoration in Windrose. It is a wall-style ornament shaped like an empty parrot cage, built from metal stock and placed inside a base to raise the room's Comfort rating.
Like every comfort piece, the cage only counts while it sits inside the Bonfire range, and its bonus does not stack with other items in the same Miscellaneous category. Spread different decoration types around the room to push the overall Comfort level higher rather than placing several cages together.

Crafting is near instant once the plan is known. The recipe consumes five Foothills Iron Ingot, so a Foothills smelting run is the main gate on building several at once. The finished piece has 1,500 Max Health, matching most small wall decorations.
