Placement and Comfort
Like every decoration, the book set only counts toward your shelter while it sits inside the range of a Bonfire. Anything placed outside that radius is purely cosmetic and adds nothing to the Comfort System. Build it near your camp or base so the bonus registers.
This piece grants +1 to the Books comfort category. Comfort within a single category does not stack, so placing two pieces of the same category gives the same +1 as one. To raise your total comfort you mix pieces from different categories rather than stacking duplicates of the same one. Higher overall comfort is what unlocks better rest and the related shelter benefits.
Book Sets in the Series
Book Set 2 is one of several decorative Books displays. Each set is a different arrangement of volumes, and they all grant the same Books comfort bonus, so collectors can pick the look they prefer. With 3,000 Max Health, the book sets are noticeably sturdier than lighter decorations like flagpoles, which sit at 1,500.

Materials
The set is built from three Hardwood and nothing else, making it one of the simplest comfort pieces to produce. Hardwood is harvested from tougher trees, so once you have a reliable source you can craft the whole book set collection cheaply to fill out a study or library corner of your base.
