Bentham is a playable character in Silver Palace introduced through an official character title page. Her occupation is Secretary and her title is "The Quartz Net". Her official profile identifies her specifically as Secretary of the United Mining Industry board office, usually shortened to UMI, which places her inside the corporate power bloc described in Factions.

Her official profile states that her childhood dreams now drive her to ascend ever higher, and adds that the rot of ambition spares nobody, closing with the observation that those who keep marching into the future are never truly innocent at heart.
