Overview

Vileplume is a Grass/Poison-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Flower Pokemon (Dex #015). It has the world's largest petals, and with every step, those petals shake out heavy clouds of toxic pollen. Vileplume is one of two possible final evolutions for the Oddish line, carrying both the Grow and Litter specialties. This dual-specialty combination makes Vileplume a strong choice for players who want plant growth acceleration alongside passive resource drops.

The Chansey Resting Area (#034) is a more advanced habitat. Vileplume appears here as a Rare Pokemon, meaning it may take several attempts or patience before one shows up. Building this habitat also gives you a chance to encounter Chansey and Bellossom.

Location

Vileplume is found in Withered Wasteland. Although its pre-evolution Gloom is located in Bleak Beach, Vileplume itself appears back in the starting region at the Chansey Resting Area.

How to Befriend

Build the Chansey Resting Area habitat in the Withered Wasteland and wait for Vileplume to appear. Since Vileplume is a Rare spawn, you may need to clear out other Pokemon from the habitat or rebuild it to increase your chances. Once Vileplume appears, interact with it to receive a befriending request.

Specialties: Grow and Litter

Vileplume has two specialties: Grow and Litter. Grow accelerates the growth of nearby plants, crops, flowers, and trees. Litter causes Vileplume to drop useful materials like Vine Rope, Fluff, and other organic resources near its home as it walks around. This combination makes Vileplume a strong choice for players who want both faster farming and passive material collection in one Pokemon.

Preferences

Vileplume thrives in humid environments. Surround its habitat with flowers, colorful decorations, and nature elements. Unlike Gloom (which likes garbage), Vileplume prefers colorful items and pretty flowers. Keep the area humid for the best results.

Evolution

Vileplume is one of two final evolutions in the Oddish line. The chain goes: Oddish -> Gloom -> Vileplume. The alternative final evolution is Bellossom, which drops the Poison type and trades the Litter specialty for Hype.

• Vileplume's Litter specialty makes it one of the better Pokemon for passive resource generation. Place it near a Workbench to collect dropped materials conveniently.

• If you need a Grow Pokemon for your Bleak Beach farms, consider keeping Gloom there instead of evolving it, since Vileplume is found in Withered Wasteland.
