Overview

Trade is a Pokemon Specialty in Pokemon Pokopia. Pokemon with the Trade specialty staff Cash Register shops in your settlement, allowing barter trades for materials and items. This is one of the most populated specialties in the game, with over 40 different Pokemon capable of running trade stands.

What it Does

• Staffs Cash Register shops, enabling player-NPC trades

• Inventory rotates per Pokemon and per day

• Different Trade Pokemon offer different barter pools

• Functions as a way to convert surplus materials into needed items

Pokemon with Trade Specialty

Trade-specialty Pokemon include (partial list):

• Blastoise, Slowbro, Hoothoot, Noctowl

• The Hitmon line: Tyrogue, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop

• Gastrodon, Goodra, Meowth, Persian

• The Gastly line: Gastly, Haunter, Gengar

• The Chansey line: Happiny, Chansey, Blissey

• Snorlax, Ampharos, Audino, Eevee, Glaceon

Tips

• Set up multiple Cash Registers staffed by different Trade Pokemon. Each has a different inventory pool, multiplying your barter options.

• Hoothoot and Noctowl are common early-game Trade Pokemon and can be befriended in any region with night-time spawns.

• Combine Trade with Collect specialty Gimmighoul or Gholdengo for the fullest barter coverage.
