Scizor is a Bug/Steel-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Pincer Pokemon (Dex #043). Scizor is found in the Withered Wasteland at the Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitat alongside Scyther, Pinsir, and Heracross. Scizor carries the Chop specialty for processing logs into lumber. In the main series, Scizor is the evolution of Scyther, but there is no evolution mechanic in Pokopia; each stage is a separate Pokedex entry that must be befriended individually.
Scizor lives in the Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitat (#002). This habitat requires:
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Tall Grass | 4 | Place in a cluster; grow using Leafage |
Large Tree (any type) | 1 | Any tree species works as long as it is a large-sized tree |
Scizor appears as a Common visitor at this habitat. Several other Pokemon also spawn here, so you may need to build multiple habitats or wait for Scizor specifically.

Scizor appears in Withered Wasteland, the game's opening region. Since both Tall Grass and trees are readily available from the start, the Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitat is one of the earliest habitats players can build after learning Leafage from Bulbasaur. Scizor is available at all times of day and in all weather conditions.
Build the Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitat in Withered Wasteland by placing four patches of tall grass around a large tree. After a short wait, Scizor may appear alongside the other Pokemon that share this habitat. Walk up and interact with Scizor to befriend it.
Scizor has the Chop specialty. Pokemon with Chop can break small logs into lumber (10 logs yield 50 lumber per batch). Place Scizor near a log pile or workshop, and it will process logs during its free time. Chop is one of the most valuable resource-processing specialties in the game, as lumber is a core building material used in construction, furniture, and crafting. The Chop specialty is also required for cooking the Shredded Salad recipe.

"It swings its eye-patterned pincers up to scare its foes. This makes it look like it has three heads."
Both Scizor and Scyther share the Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitat and the Chop specialty. However, Scyther also teaches Ditto the Cut transformation, making Scyther the more important of the two for story progression. Scizor's Steel typing gives it different preference leanings; it favors metal and hard objects, while Scyther prefers breezy, sharp-themed environments. Both are useful as Chop workers. If you need extra lumber processing capacity, having both stationed near your workshop doubles your output.
Scizor is one of the most accessible Chop-specialty Pokemon since the Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitat can be built very early in the game.
Station Scizor near your workshop alongside Scyther to maximize lumber processing speed.
Furnish Scizor's habitat with bright, metallic, and wooden items to increase its Comfort Level.
Since Scizor is a Common spawn at Tree-Shaded Tall Grass, it is usually one of the first Pokemon to appear when you build the habitat.
