Overview

Printer is a paintable Decoration item in Pokemon Pokopia classified as office equipment. It is functionally distinct from the 3D Printer found at every Pokemon Center; the developer-room Printer is a smaller piece of office furniture used primarily to print the Diploma awarded for full Pokedex completion.

How to Obtain

Source 1: Overworld Pickup

A pre-placed Printer can be found in Sparkling Skylands as part of the abandoned office buildings throughout the floating islands. Photograph it for 3D Printer duplication, or pick it up directly to add to your inventory.

Source 2: Crafting

The crafting recipe is unlocked by entering the hidden Pokedex Completion Room in Sparkling Skylands. To unlock the room, complete the Pokedex (300 Pokemon) and use the Neo Dowsing Machine to find the scanner that opens the gate. Inside the room, the Printer recipe is one of three exclusive crafting unlocks (alongside Card Reader and Shutter).

Function

Print Diplomas

Place the Printer and interact with it to scan your completed Pokedex and print a Diploma. Multiple prints are possible.

Print Photographed Items

The Printer can also produce copies of any item you have photographed, similar to the standard 3D Printer but as a more compact in-house alternative. This allows you to keep print capability inside your own builds rather than visiting a Pokemon Center each time.

Power Requirement

Like other office decorations, the Printer is classified as an electricity-generating item, so it can power nearby devices on a power grid.

Tips

• Place the Printer near a power-distribution point so it has consistent electricity to operate.

• The Printer's office aesthetic fits Sparkling Skylands or modern themed builds. Pair with a Card Reader and Shutter for a complete office set.

• The Pokedex Completion Room recipe is the cheaper acquisition route once you have completed the Pokedex; the overworld pickup is useful before that.
