Mew is the final Pokemon in Pokopia's Pokedex and the last Legendary and Mythical Pokemon that players can obtain. Unlike other Legendary Pokemon that are encountered through story events or building kits, Mew is unlocked by completing the Mysterious Mural, a major collection challenge that spans the entire game.
To unlock Mew, players must collect all 27 Mystery Slates and place them on the Mysterious Mural. Each slate corresponds to one symbol from the Unown alphabet: 26 letter slates (A through Z) plus one slate covering both the ! and ? symbols.
The Mysterious Mural is a wall covered in Unown symbols located in an underground chamber in Withered Wasteland. The entrance to the chamber is hidden behind breakable blocks near the Pokemon Center. Use Rock Smash to access it. Each Mystery Slate must be placed in the correct position matching the Unown symbol on the wall.
Mystery Slates are obtained exclusively by breaking Glowing Blocks scattered across the ground in all areas. There is no other way to obtain them; they cannot be crafted, purchased, or 3D printed. Glowing Blocks are found throughout all five areas and on Dream Islands, so players should break every glowing spot they encounter.
Finding all 27 slates requires thorough exploration across all game areas and many visits to Dream Islands. This is a long-term collection goal that spans the entire playthrough.
Once all 27 slates are placed correctly on the Mysterious Mural, Mew appears and joins the player's island as a permanent resident. Mew is the final entry in Pokopia's Pokedex, so unlocking it contributes to Pokedex completion.
