Overview

Chop is a Pokemon Specialty in Pokemon Pokopia. Pokemon with the Chop specialty process Small Logs into Lumber, the most heavily-used construction material in the game. Two Small Logs yield 10 Lumber, making Chop one of the highest-throughput specialties for builders.

What It Does

• Converts Small Logs (or Sturdy Sticks) into Lumber via passive processing

• Powers up the Cut move when a Chop Pokemon is nearby (with the right food)

• Required helper for many building kits that include lumber-heavy recipes

Tips

• Scyther is the iconic Chop Pokemon and teaches Ditto the Cut move. Befriend Scyther in Withered Wasteland early to unlock both the move and the specialty.

• Place Chop Pokemon habitats near a stockpile of Small Logs so they continuously process while you explore.

• Lumber demand is high through most of the game. Multiple Chop Pokemon working in parallel keep your supply ahead of construction needs.
