Overview

Kite flying is a leisure activity in Outbound, unlocked as the "Cozy Kites" stretch goal during the game's Kickstarter campaign. It was the third stretch goal to be achieved and sits alongside fishing, beekeeping, and other mini-games as one of the game's optional recreational activities.

Status

Detailed gameplay mechanics for kite flying have not been publicly documented. The feature was not present in early alpha builds, and specific controls, wind physics, and whether kites serve any functional gameplay purpose beyond recreation have not been revealed.
