The beta patch notes for Monsters & Memories name a small number of bosses and named spawns. None of them is described on the official website, so what follows is limited to what the notes state, and every fact describes the current beta build (see Patch Notes). The notes never say which zone any of the three major encounters lives in, and this page does not guess. For the general rules on raids and world events, see Gameplay; for the rules on who loots a contested kill, see PvP and Grouping.

Raids and world events in the beta
On July 2, 2026 raids, level-locked encounters and some spawns were deactivated on the beta servers, with the note adding that Pustulax Scepter drops stayed active. Regular earthquakes returned the same day under new rules, and since August 4, 2026 an earthquake spawns an additional boss without affecting that boss's regular respawn, provided the boss is killed before it would normally respawn. The same August 4 patch removed the first-to-engage lock from raid NPCs: a shout or emote states who engaged first, but loot follows regular corpse rules, going to whoever dealt the most damage, and the Play Nice Policy still applies. Beta Patch 9 (August 20, 2026) then listed three encounters as redone and reactivated: Bone Construct, Pustulax and Lord Ga'Duuz.
Bone Construct
The Bone Construct's room, encounter and rewards were revamped on August 4, 2026, when the note said it was not yet accessible while its trigger mechanism was finished. It was reactivated on August 20, 2026. Beta Patch 10 (September 10, 2026) set the arena rules: the construct despawns if it leaves its arena, an exploit that let pets keep fighting it while their masters stood outside the arena was fixed, its gate would not open until its corpse rotted, and the gate could be bypassed while the corpse was active by anyone with Hero's Resolve. The next day's hotfix (September 11, 2026) reversed the gate rule, so the Bone Construct no longer locks its gate until its corpse rots, and set every Bone Construct reward to require level 49 to equip.
Pustulax
Pustulax is first mentioned on July 2, 2026, when its Scepter drops were kept active through the general raid deactivation, and it was reactivated on August 20, 2026. On August 22, 2026 it was made to reset properly when the server reboots. Beta Patch 10 (September 10, 2026) shortened the encounter while raising its outgoing damage, made the Disease Epicenter ability's effects more visible in daytime, and fixed a bug where it hit every player in the zone, a fix the note says may also have stopped several area effects from passing through walls. Beta Patch 0.30.0.0 (September 19, 2026) slowed the fight down again and made the Spreading Plague mechanic spread less aggressively.
Lord Ga'Duuz
Lord Ga'Duuz was reactivated on August 20, 2026, the same patch that gave designers an always-sandstorm-while-Ga'Duuz-is-in-combat weather option. He is also the first named use of a merchant system added on August 4, 2026: the developer wrote that killing Ga'Duuz is initially planned to discount certain items in Night Harbor, framed in the lore as easing trade with Calafrey. Beta Patch 10 (September 10, 2026) changed his abilities to encourage three tanks while keeping two workable, removed his add, and shortened the fight while raising his damage. Beta Patch 0.30.0.0 (September 19, 2026) made him despawn again shortly after his hate list empties, made him summon more aggressively, reduced his sandstorm's intensity, fixed his world rewards, which had applied inconsistently, and added more world rewards for killing him. The notes do not say what the world rewards are beyond the merchant discount.
Other named spawns
Three further names appear once each. Fendris the Foresaken, spelled that way in the note, was fixed on February 25, 2026 so that he no longer fails to spawn while his corpse exists, which places him among spawns with a corpse condition. The Crypt Broodmother was fixed on April 21, 2026 for sometimes despawning shortly after spawning; nothing ties her to the Ancient Crypt named in a July 2 music note, and this wiki does not assume the link. Grudgehaft was fixed on August 9, 2026 with no other detail, so whether it is an NPC, an item or something else is not stated. The February 25, 2026 pre-patch also announced a new boss called High Sentinal Waitmoor, Protector of Eth-ur, described in the same line as the world server and known to spawn during peak times; this is the developer's joke about server load, not a creature. Named items with encounter-flavoured names, such as Bane of the Twin Drakes and its plague proc, are covered on Items and Equipment.
