Overview
Hide and Seek is an objective during the City of the Sun main quest in LumenTale: Memories of Trey. An NPC named Lino in Costa Linda challenges you to a game of Hide and Seek, and you have to track them down across town. There are three hiding spots in total.
It is the third objective in the quest, sitting between the Lumen Beach Tournament and the Cocobello minigame. Lino is marked on the map for the opening conversation, but the hiding spots themselves are not, so after that you are searching a town mid-festival on foot. The crowd is the real obstacle rather than the distances involved.
Where This Fits in City of the Sun
The objective is short, and it slots into the quest between two other festival activities.

Lino's Hiding Spots
Spot | Location | How to Get There |
|---|---|---|
Hiding Spot 1 | Behind a building on the western side of Costa Linda. | Head west from where Lino was standing when you took the challenge. The spot is at the far left side of the Lumen Club. |
Hiding Spot 2 | Behind a barrel on the eastern side of town. | From the Costa Linda entrance, head south, take the first left and go up. Keep going up and take the left just before the tree; Lino is standing in the corner. |
Hiding Spot 3 | Behind the Point of Interest: Fountain. | The fountain rest point on the western side of town, the same landmark the eighth town torch sits behind. |
Tips
The fountain hiding the third spot is a rest point, so you can heal your party and change the time of day while you are standing there. That same fountain is the landmark for the second group of civilians later in this quest and for the eighth town torch, which is worth remembering if you plan to clear Costa Linda Torch Locations on the same visit. The tenth torch needs the hoverboard, so leave that one for later if you do not have the board yet.
Finding all three spots closes the objective outright, with no battle and no failure state, and the quest moves straight on to the Cocobello minigame on the western side of town.
