The Suspicious Job Agency is a criminal-economy hub introduced in the December 23, 2025 v0.5.0 update. It functions as the central marketplace for organized crime in inZOI, gating access to higher-tier criminal work behind the Crime Skill and a series of paid information purchases. The agency serves three primary roles: a job board for criminal gigs, a shop for break-in intelligence, and a black-market source for tools like lockpicks.
The agency complements the rest of the v0.5.0 crime system. Together with the Crime Skill leveling track, the Crime Score arrest threshold, and the Trial and Justice System, it forms the complete criminal gameplay loop introduced in the December 2025 update.
Service | Description |
|---|---|
Take Shady Jobs | Gig-style criminal missions with set targets and payouts. Job rewards scale with Crime Skill level. |
Purchase Crime Information | Three pricing tiers gating break-in heists. Higher tiers reveal higher-value targets but require higher Crime Skill to access. |
Buy Lockpicks (Dark Mew) | Black-market function unlocked at Crime Skill 2. Lockpicks cost 100 Meow each and are required for certain break-in actions. |
Register Fake Information | At higher Crime Skill levels, Zois can register low-tier (Crime Skill 3) and high-tier (Crime Skill 5, requires Critical Thinking 5) fake information. |
The agency's most distinctive function is the three-tier information shop. Each tier reveals targets for higher-value heists, with payouts that scale dramatically. Information purchase costs are upfront; the listed profit figures are net of the upfront cost.

Tier | Cost | Crime Skill Required | Typical Net Profit |
|---|---|---|---|
Low-tier | 500 Meow | Around 3,686 Meow | |
Intermediate-tier | 2,000 Meow | Around 12,791 Meow | |
High-tier (e.g., bank vault) | 5,000 Meow | Around 52,373 Meow |
The high-tier 5,000 Meow purchase typically reveals bank vault targets, the most lucrative single-action crimes in the game. Even after the upfront cost, the net profit substantially exceeds standard crime payouts.
Shady jobs from the agency are gig-style assignments with predefined targets. The job is added to the Zoi's calendar after purchase and must be completed before the calendar event expires. Specific targets and payouts vary based on the Zoi's Crime Skill level.

As of the v0.5.0 launch, community reports flagged that some purchased job tiers occasionally fail to register on the calendar, leaving them uncompletable when the start time arrives. Several of these issues were addressed in subsequent v0.5.x hotfixes.
Once a Zoi reaches Crime Skill level 2, the agency unlocks access to Dark Mew, an in-game black-market interface for purchasing tools. The primary item available is the lockpick, priced at 100 Meow each. Lockpicks are required for several break-in actions including Pick Door Lock and Sabotage Surveillance Camera.
Stocking up on lockpicks ahead of a heist is a common preparation step for Crime Skill 4+ Zois who plan multiple break-in jobs.
The Suspicious Job Agency is the primary economy gate for advanced crime gameplay. Without using its services, a Zoi can perform low-level crimes (theft, scams, ATM hacks) but cannot access the higher-paying break-in heists that produce the largest payouts in the v0.5.0+ crime system.

Selling stolen goods, however, does not happen at the agency. Stolen items go directly to the Zoi's bag and can be sold through the standard inventory interface or kept for personal use.
As of v0.5.0, stolen goods cannot be sold at the agency. The community has requested this feature; it has not yet been added.
Purchased jobs sometimes fail to register on the calendar at midnight, making them uncompletable. This issue was partially addressed in the v0.5.x hotfix cycle, but players should verify after purchase that the job appears on the calendar correctly.
The agency's exact in-game location (which city and district) has not been clearly documented in patch notes. Players seeking the agency should check around criminal-themed locations in each city.
Save the 5,000 Meow high-tier info purchase for after the Zoi has built up reserves. The 50,000+ Meow payoff easily covers the cost, but the upfront fee can hurt a low-budget Zoi.
Stock up on lockpicks before tackling break-in jobs. Each lockpick costs 100 Meow at Dark Mew, and running out mid-heist can ruin the operation.
Register fake information at Crime Skill 5 (with Critical Thinking 5) for an extra income stream that complements the heist work.
Combine agency jobs with direct crime actions (ATM hacks, scams) to maintain steady income between higher-tier heist opportunities.
Crime covers the broader crime system. Crime Skill gates access to the agency's services. Crime Score tracks arrest probability. Karma decreases as crimes accumulate. Criminal Careers covers the Gangster and Street Soldier career paths. December 2025 Update details the v0.5.0 release that introduced the agency.
