overview

inZOI has three types of social events: Parties, Dates, and Weddings. Parties can be scheduled anytime. Dates require the Zoi to have asked someone out first, and weddings require a proposal.

how to plan an event

Open the smartphone (press P), tap the Events app, find an open timeslot on the Zoi's schedule, and click "Make Event." Fill in the name, duration (at least two hours), location, guest list, dress code, and recommended or prohibited activities. Alternatively, plan an event directly through an NPC interaction. Dates scheduled this way start one hour later. Weddings scheduled through interaction happen at noon the next day.

event activities

When setting up an event, players choose which actions guests are encouraged or forbidden to do. The categories include:

• Indoor: music, TV, bathing, repairs, sleeping, cleaning

• Food & cooking: eating, food prep, coffee drinking

• Hobbies: art appreciation, instruments, dancing, writing, gaming, reading, workouts, photography

• Outdoor: fishing, gardening, stealing

• Children: homework, toy play

• Conversation: hugging, romance, fighting, kissing, rudeness, kindness

During the event, a timer and a list of suggested actions appear (like greeting guests or lighting birthday candles). These actions aren't required but make the party more enjoyable. At the end, players can take a group photo.
