Sleep and Beds

Initial version
Sleep and Energy are two separate needs in inZOI, out of eight total. Sleep is high-priority. Energy is lower-priority and relates to general rest and doing preferred activities to avoid burnout.
If the Sleep need drops to zero, the Zoi risks death from exhaustion. A warning message shows up before that happens, telling you how much time remains before the Zoi collapses.
When a Zoi goes to bed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, game time automatically speeds up to 30x. Sleeping outside that window passes at normal speed, which makes odd-hour naps feel much longer.
KRAFTON adjusted sleep duration after launch because the original "realistic" sleep patterns (Zois sleeping in when tired, oversleeping regularly) created too much friction with the flow of gameplay. Sleep was shortened so players spend less time watching their Zois in bed.
Beds are made up of customizable parts: the frame, mattress, sheets, and two sets of pillows. Each part can be customized independently in Build Mode. Zois can also nap on sofas for partial sleep recovery.
Toddlers don't use regular beds. When a toddler gets sleepy enough, a toddler rug or mattress spawns on the ground and they lay down on it. Purchased toddler beds from Build Mode are currently decorative only and don't function as sleep spots in Early Access.
While sleeping, Zois can experience dreams and nightmares. A dream image appears above their head during sleep. What they dream about is influenced by their current mood and recent events. A Zoi who had a rough day is more likely to have a nightmare.
Zois can sleepwalk, and when they do, the player loses control of them. Sleepwalking Zois have been spotted doing all kinds of things: booking vacations, donating money, wandering around the house, and other unpredictable actions. How often a Zoi sleepwalks seems tied to how frequently they dream.
