Overview

Every career in inZOI falls into one of two categories: Active or Rabbit Hole. The distinction affects how your Zoi experiences work, how fast they get promoted, and how much direct control you have during their shift.

Active Careers

In an active career, you can see the interior of the workplace and directly control your Zoi during their shift. You perform specific work tasks that fill the promotion progress bar, and you can interact with coworkers and the work environment.

• Faster promotion: completing work tasks directly fills the progress bar

• More engaging gameplay during work hours

• Can build relationships with coworkers

• Levels can be gained within a few in-game days

Rabbit Hole Careers

In a rabbit hole career, your Zoi enters the workplace building and disappears for the duration of their shift. You receive periodic notifications about their activities but cannot control them directly. The promotion bar fills gradually based on attendance and shift completion.

• Simpler gameplay, just ensure attendance and punctuality

• Includes the highest-paying careers (law, criminal boss)

• Less micromanagement during work hours

Tips

• If you want faster promotions and interactive gameplay, choose active careers.

• If you want higher salaries and less micromanagement, rabbit hole careers are better.

• For rabbit hole promotions, the single most important tip is showing up on time and staying the entire shift.

• Keep needs high before any work shift to improve performance across both types.
