Xardas

Xardas is a powerful necromancer and a former member of the Fire Circle. He was present at the ritual that raised the Barrier before breaking away from the Fire Mages to study the The Sleeper on his own. Alkimia Interactive revealed his in-game appearance in the August 2025 pre-order trailer.

Tower

Xardas's tower is a confirmed landmark in the remake. Alkimia's Making Of #5 development episode specifically showcases the tower returning in a new, modernised form, and the building is one of the remake's pre-release wayfinding anchors alongside the Old Camp castle.

The Break

Xardas left the Fire Circle to study the Sleeper in isolation. He now lives far from any of the three camps, which is one of the reasons he is able to pursue research the other mages will not touch.

Role in the Story

In the later stages of the campaign, Xardas becomes the Hero's main source of direction. He provides the context for the artifact hunt tying the middle chapters together, and his tower is the staging point for preparing to confront the Sleeper at the end of the game. Voice

In the English-language release, Xardas is voiced by Harry Myers. In the German release, he is voiced by Bodo Henkel. See Voice Cast and Localization for the full cast.
