Xardas

Xardas is a powerful necromancer and a former member of the Fire Circle. He was present at the original Barrier ritual and was aligned with the Fire Mages of the Old Camp before breaking away on his own.

The Break

Xardas left the Fire Circle to study the Sleeper in isolation. He now lives in a tower deep in the Colony, far from any of the three camps, which is one of the reasons he is able to research subjects the other mages will not touch.

Mentor

The fourth chapter of the campaign, Xardas, is named after him. By that point in the story, he has become the main source of direction for the Nameless Hero, handing out the artifact hunts and rituals needed to confront the Sleeper at the end of the game.
